Asahi Launches “Dodekamin Black 2.0 PET 500 ml” with Caffeine

On 9 December, Asahi Soft Drinks will launch a new healthy carbonated drink called “Dodekamin Black 2.0 PET 500 ml”, nationwide.
Since its introduction in 2004 under the “big, healthy, carbonated” concept, “Asahi Dodekamin” has been well received among working men in their 20s and 30s. The product line went one step further in April 2007, with the introduction of “Asahi Dodekamin Super”, which was fortified with amino acids and vitamins. Then, in December 2007, “Asahi Dodekamin Black”, which made use of guarana’s distinctive hue and taste, was launched as a new “Dodekamin” product. By adding caffeine to the popular “Asahi Dodekamin Black” released last December, the company is now launching “Asahi Dodekamin Black 2.0 PET 500 ml”.
The current product contains seven amino acids (aspartic acid, lysine, arginine, glycine, valine, leucine & isoleucine), as well as guarana and maca (Lepidium meyenii), which are both seen as increasing vitality. This is the perfect type of healthy carbonated beverage for the coming year-end and new-year period, when working people will become very busy. The product also contains a mere 19 kcal per 100 ml.
