Eustis, Florida – 9/6/02 - U.S. Nutraceuticals, LLC, a leading manufacturer of supercritical fluid extracts for the dietary supplement, nutraceutical and functional food industries, has acquired the astaxanthin business of La Haye Laboratories, Inc., a Redmond, Washington manufacturer of branded dietary supplement ingredients. La Haye, founded in 1986, is engaged in researching, manufacturing and marketing novel, high-potency antioxidants, including its patented astaZANTHIN™ and Zanthin® ingredients. Both ingredients are potent and natural antioxidants utilized worldwide in many leading dietary supplements and cosmeceutical skincare products.
