Apple Rush Co., Inc. To Introduce New Apple Rush Sparkling Organic Light Juices
2009-10-29 - Apple Rush Co., Inc.

Apple Rush Co., Inc. (Pink Sheets: APRU) is pleased to announce that it has developed a new reduced calorie version of its Organic Apple Rush beverages. Apple Rush is now scheduling an early 2010 introduction of three new Organic Light flavors with fewer calories; Pomegranate, Original Apple and Black Cherry. The product will be available in eye-catching 12 oz. recyclable Aluminum cans.

Apple Rush Organic Light has the same refreshing taste as its 100% Juice version, but with 40% less calories. The new Light version will be made with 60% Organic Juices and a blend of Stevia and Erythritol that provides a delicious and refreshing taste like the original 100% juice version.

Apple Rush is positioning itself for the growth it foresees in the reduced calorie Organic beverage category. School districts and other on-premise locations like hospitals and physical fitness centers across the United States are seeking alternative beverages that contain less than 100 calories per serving. Apple Rush claims that its reduced calorie version will not only be well within this spectrum based on the standard 8oz. serving size, but less than 100 calories for the entire 12 oz. can.

"The new Apple Rush Organic Light was a direction we had to address. We've been reviewing alternative sweeteners for sometime but could not find any one new, naturally reduced calorie sweetener that on its own could produce both sufficient calorie reduction and the refreshing taste we were looking for, until now. The new Apple Rush Light version also has its own distinct look and tastes great; we have big expectations for 2010 sales of this new addition to our line. We see this as a great inroad to a new customer base that has been kept on the Apple Rush sidelines only because of the calorie issue. This should be a great benefit for everyone; consumers, our company and its investors," stated Robert Corr, President of Apple Rush Co.
