To be exact, it is 472 steps to the top of “One London Place”, the building that houses KGK Synergize Inc. (“KGK”), and its human clinical trial site. On November 5th, 2009, the staff of KGK Synergize will participate in the “Climb of the Penguins”, and climb to the top of the building to support The United Way of London & Middlesex, Ontario. It is no trek to the South Pole, but it is still London’s tallest building.
“The staff has been busy collecting pledges for the event, and has even started training on their lunch hour” states Najla Guthrie, President/CEO and also a participant of the event. “It is very encouraging to see everyone come together and have fun to support such a great cause”, Guthrie says.
This event is one of many fund raising activities that companies can participate in to help the United Way reach their annual fund raising goal of $7.4M.
