IPA becomes Official Sponsor of International Probiotics Documentary, 'Micro Warriors'
2009-10-27 - International Probiotics Association (IPA)

The International Probiotics Association (IPA) is proud to announce its official sponsorship of the soon to be produced scientific documentary: ‘Probiotics – Micro Warriors of the Digestive Tract’.

‘Micro Warriors,’ is set to be the most comprehensive, complete and up-to-date film ever produced on probiotics and its importance to our overall health and wellbeing. “Micro Warriors” will be shot on HD

The film will feature interviews with world renowned scientific and medical experts including preeminent Microbiologist Dr Lynne McFarland, the President of the World Gastroenterology Organization Dr Eamonn Quigley. ‘Micro Warriors’ aims to demonstrate that good bacteria, in the form of probiotics can improve our digestive health and improve our general wellness.

Medical and scientific animations throughout the film will accurately depict how probiotics work in the digestive tract, and highlight current research.  Interviews with patients who have experienced significant symptomatic relief after using probiotics, will provide inspiration for those suffering from related digestive diseases and disorders. It will also outline the global regulatory environment surrounding probiotics.

The film will also examine the history of probiotics, from its discovery by Russian Nobel Laureate Eli Metchnikoffof in the early 20th century, to its use in cultures around the world today.

‘Micro Warriors’ will be released internationally and broadcast by public broadcasters (PBS) ,network and cable television stations around the world.

Health Point Press (www.healthpointpress.com) in conjunction with award winning Producer, Ron Frank of Ron Frank Productions (www.ronfrankproductions.com), will produce ‘Micro Warriors.’  Tremendous support for the film has already been received from international probiotics manufacturers and other related companies. There are still sponsorship opportunities remaining, for corporations who wish to be involved in this exciting and ground breaking project.
