Company founder and noted herbalist David Winston RH (AHG) believes that a cleansing program is not a substitute for developing a good basic lifestyle program, and in his clinical practice emphasizes the importance of following a diet that would make cleansing unnecessary. However, understanding that there are times when a cleansing program is needed, he emphasizes that it should work, and not be overly harsh. The H&A program meets that criteria, using formulas developed in David Winston’s clinical practice.
The ingredients gently enhance the body’s normal eliminatory processes. Unlike harsh laxatives, irritating diuretics and strong cholagogues (substances that stimulate emptying of the gallbladder and flow of bile), the herbs that are included in this protocol work via multiple eliminatory pathways as a healthy and safe way of supporting excretion of metabolic wastes, while improving digestion, nutrient absorption, circulation, cellular regeneration, and immune function. Weight loss is often a side effect, but not the primary intention.
The kit contains four formulas: Gentlelax, Burdock-Red Root Compound, Healthy Skin Tonic and Thistles Compound, along with protocol instructions.
