Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Relaunches “Easy Fiber” as a FOSHU

Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. will relaunch its “Easy Fiber” product (JPY 1,600/30 packs; JPY 2,500/260 g can) at drug stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and hardware stores nationwide on 25 September 2008. The product was first released as a convenient way to take dietary fiber in 1998. Each pack contains 4.2 g of dietary fiber. The product has been relaunched as a health food to improve gut health, having received FOSHU approval from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
