(NASDAQ – STKL) (TSX – SOY) part of the SunOpta Canadian Distribution Group today announced that it has secured an exclusive distribution agreement with Dynakor Pharmacal, an affiliate of Basic Research, for the distribution of its new diet product, Akävar 20/50, in Canada. This is an exclusive agreement where Purity Life will be the only distributor in Canada selling Akävar 20/50.

Effective immediately, Purity Life will begin to offer Akävar 20/50 to its substantial customer base across Canada.
