RPI, a leading soft gel manufacturer, has experienced record growth over the past year and attributes this success, in part, to the increased awareness of the benefits of dietary supplements with consumers. Robinson Pharma Inc., which was recently granted a drug manufacturing license by the state of California, has expanded production capacity over the past year to meet the growing demand for high quality dietary supplements. The RPI plant expansion is predicated on the understanding that consumer demand for dietary supplements will continue to grow.
RPI president and founder, Tuong Nguyen stated, “Growth in our core business of soft gel encapsulation has created demand that RPI is well positioned to meet. Last year we opened our “Phase II” production facility- the first 100% continuous dry soft gel operation in the U.S. After this initial success with continuous drying technology, we have converted the balance of the plant to this more efficient and faster production method.” Now with over 20 production lines operating 24 hours a day, Mr. Nguyen added that RPI is considering further expansion and upgrades. The increase in staffing reflects growth in almost all departments of the company with specific focus on production, quality control, and plant support.
