Vancouver, Canada Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. (TSX:FMI and NASDAQ:FMTI) announced that its Phyto-Source manufacturing facility in Pasadena, Texas, a 50-50 joint venture between Forbes and Chusei (USA) Inc., has resumed production of the Company's cholesterol-lowering ingredients with no apparent material property damage from the recent hurricane activity.
"We are very fortunate that the manufacturing facility was not damaged by hurricane Rita," said Charles Butt, President and CEO of Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. "The plant and its staff are safe and back in operation."
