As a result of a strategic reorganization, RFI Ingredients, Blauvelt, NY, is proud to announce a new focus for its food, functional food and dietary supplement businesses. In keeping with ongoing trends in the industry, RFI—which has a longstanding reputation in the food ingredients area—has now defined a new core platform based on organic ingredients. The new RFI Ingredients portfolio includes GMP-certified certified organic manufacturing facilities in:

As a result of this new concentration, RFI has made the decision to divest itself of its rosemary platform in the food industry, which it recently sold to Naturex. “While we were very successful in the rosemary business for over 10 years, we felt this was not a good fit for the company we want to become moving forward,” said RFI chief executive officer Jeff Wuagneux. “We’re very excited about our new market strategy. We feel strongly that the future of this business is in organics and natural products and we look forward to offering high quality ingredients to the food, functional food and dietary supplement industries.” RFI will continue to supply rosemary-based ingredients for the dietary supplement and pet food industries.
