U.S. Patents: Abstract: Described herein is a nutritional supplement to be incorporated into the diet of a type 2 diabetic or an individual having lipodystrophy. The supplement provides active food-grade ingredients to improve the management of blood glucose and blood lipid levels. The supplement additionally aids in the improvement of the effects of platelet aggregation. The supplement should be taken daily during or at the end of the two largest meals, where most of the fat and cholesterol are likely to be ingested.
