MINNEAPOLIS - Cargill Health & Food Technologies (H&FT) will introduce a number of dietary supplement prototypes during the SupplySide West International Trade Show and Conference, October 1-3, 2003, at The Venetian and the Sands Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The finished formulations are the result of Cargill H&FT's commitment to customer solutions, through which it makes high quality ingredients available to manufacturers in value-added forms, enhancing product development and increasing speed to market.

The concept formulations to be showcased include a joint health product featuring OptaFlex(TM) chondroitin sulfate; a heart health solution with CoroWise(TM) pure phytosterol tablets that are in the correct dosage to allow manufacturers to make the FDA-approved heart-healthy claim; and a women's bone health prototype featuring AdvantaSoy(TM) soy isoflavones in tablet form.

Cargill H&FT will also sample finished beverage prototypes, including "Bone Appetit," a raspberry tea with AdvantaSoy(TM) soy isoflavones, and a refreshing fitness water that contains AscendT trehalose natural sweetener.
