MINNEAPOLIS - Cargill announced today that Ted E. Ziemann, Cargill Health & Food Technologies (H&FT) president, has been elected to the Consumer Healthcare Products Association's board of directors. CHPA is the 123-year-old trade association representing U.S. manufacturers and distributors of over-the-counter medicines and nutritional supplement products.

"I am honored to play a more integral role in the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, an organization actively involved in promoting nutritional supplements and over-the-counter medicines as important elements for today's healthcare system," said Ziemann. Ziemann joined Cargill in 2000 as President of Cargill Nutraceuticals and assumed his current role as President of Cargill's Health & Food Technologies business in 2001.
