Vitiva, Slovenia, formed a new alliance with Food Ingredient Technology (FIT), UK, in order to penetrate the growing ingredients markets in the UK and Ireland. Food Ingredient Technology, a well-known supplier of specialty ingredients in the UK will start marketing Vitiva’s exclusive rosemary extracts line to the food and dietary supplements markets.
“Our new partner FIT is an expert in the British and Irish food markets and in particular in the processed meat and poultry industries. We decided to choose FIT thanks to its complementary product line and its extensive infrastructure of technical support,” explains Mr. Ohad Cohen, Vitiva’s CEO.
Food Ingredient Technology has a wide distribution network through the UK and Ireland. It provides “door to door” services including next-day deliveries.
“The new alliance is very beneficial for us,” says Mr. David Gray, FIT CEO. ”Vitiva recently developed an odourless rosemary extracts line called INOLENS™, which is soluble in oil and possessing excellent properties that can be adjusted to meet customers' specific needs. The UK market has greater awareness of the importance of developing healthier foods and this innovative product line can improve the quality of their products and sets new standards in extending shelf life for a wide range of applications.”
This move will strengthen Vitiva’s position as the leading natural rosemary antioxidant producer in Europe, with tailor-made solutions as its greatest advantage.
Vitiva is a dynamic nutraceuticals company, offering a full range of deodorized rosemary extracts at higher and lower concentrations, which are soluble in oil and water, and come in powder and liquid forms. Recently, Vitiva has launched AquaROX ™, an extract highly soluble in water with great antioxidative properties.
