The Food Standards Agency (UK) has issued a notice regarding the publication of two National Diet and Nutrition Surveys.

The surveys represent Volumes 2 and 3 of the National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS), commissioned by the UK Food Standards Agency and the Department of Health. The NDNS survey is a national sample of adults aged 19 to 64 years. The first volume in the series, dealing with types and quantities of foods consumed, was published in December 2002, and the fourth, due later in 2003, is about nutritional status, physical measurements and physical activity.
 
Volume 2 deals with energy, protein, carbohydrate, fat and alcohol intakes. Analysis of the data will be presented by the agency later this year and the survey findings can be found at http://www.food.gov.uk/science/101717/ndnsdocuments/ndnsv2.
