WHIPPANY, NJ, (NAMC) - TRIMSPA, Inc., the makers of the dietary supplement TRIMSPA X32, has recently formed a licensing agreement with Lifestyle Beverages LLC to begin the manufacturing and distribution of TrimWater, a new nutritionally enhanced flavored water beverage to serve as a healthy alternative to the standard diet drink. The licensing agreement is TRIMSPA’s first in the beverage industry.
About choosing TRIMSPA to license the product, “without question, one of the pre-eminent brands in the nutritional industry is TRIMSPA for a variety of reasons – including product quality, brand identity, and the strength and efficiency in relaying the brand message and identity to the general public,” said David Sackler, creator of TrimWater and founder of Lifestyle Beverages.
TrimWater will launch later this monthin October initially in the New York/Tri-state area where it will be available at DSD (direct store delivery) and c-store locations. By the end of 2005, Lifestyle Beverages plans to expand into the remainder of the New England and mid-Atlantic regions. By first quarter 2006, the company anticipates production and distribution in the western United States, with national retail presence in grocery and drug stores soon to follow.
TrimWater offers a variety of benefits to the consumer including nutritional content such as Chromium Picolinate, Citrimax, Glucosamine, Hydrochloride, and Caffeine. It contains fewer calories and less sugar than most leading popular flavored water beverages or diet drinks. Containing no artificial colors, artificial flavors or preservatives, and less caffeine per serving than the leading diet colas, the water will be available in 20 oz. plastic bottles and in four flavors: Passion Fruit/Berry, Lemon/Ginger, Raspberry/Vanilla and Peach/Mango. The water is suggested to sell competitively at $1.99 per bottle.
“TrimWater is the first of the beverages we will be producing that will provide people a healthful alternative to the other beverages that are out there - it's a Lifestyle Beverage. It's something to which I, and we (Lifestyle Beverages and TRIMSPA), are firmly committed to,” said Sackler. “How great is that, great products that can help people.”
Sackler has been in the beverage business for over eight years working with companies such as General Nutrition Center, Atkins Nutrition, Bodyonics/Pinnacle, and NBTY/MET-Rx, formulating, producing and marketing various beverages ranging from bottled water, energy drinks, teas and other nutritionally enhanced waters.
A comparison chart of TrimWater to other name brands is available upon request by contacting Chrissy Kulig, Public Relations Specialist, Goen Technologies, at 973-267-4400 ext. 3361 or chrissy.kulig@goengroup.com.
