(OJAI, CA) June 23, 2006 – TLC Trade Show Productions of Ojai, CA, producer of the NNFA-West Healthy Harvest Show, “the regional trade show for the whole country,” has announced that Stetson Convention Services, promoters of sustainable practices in the production of events, has been selected to provide decorating and contracting services for this trade show. The Healthy Harvest Show will be held September 15-17, 2006, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA. Stetson is consistently finding ways to lead the exposition industry as America’s Green Contractor. Some products and services that will be provided are fully recycled and recyclable aisle, booth and event carpeting, Energy Star approved T-8 lighting in the entrance, registration and light box units and show-site waste recycling programs. “We are excited about working with Stetson and producing the show in Santa Clara,” said Terri Curry-McSweeney, president of TLC Tradeshow Productions. “The Santa Clara Convention Center is a beautiful and modern facility that exhibitors and attendees will enjoy. The City of Santa Clara borders San Jose, so this new venue remains strategically located within the same key northern California and Bay Area marketplace, making it easy to reach by virtually any mode of transportation.”
The Hyatt Regency (formerly Westin) of Santa Clara, directly connected to the convention center, is the host hotel for this year’s NNFA-West Healthy Harvest Show. Exhibitor booth reservations for the upcoming September show are still being accepted. The NNFA-West show will feature approximately 200 exhibitor booths encompassing makers of natural and organic food products, dietary supplements, natural HBA products, sports nutrition, and other health food industry products. Dot Boyd, executive director of the NNFA-West, noted the significance of supporting the Association through participation in the annual trade show. “The critical work of our regional Association is important for all members of the natural products community,” she said. “A portion of the show’s revenue supports such activities as lobbying at the state level and retailer education programs throughout our region. We encourage all natural and organic product manufacturers to support the NNFA-West by exhibiting at our 2006 Healthy Harvest Show.” Curry-McSweeney added that the Great America Theme Park is situated next to the Santa Clara Convention Center, making the location ideal for attendees who want to bring their families for a mini-vacation. The Santa Clara Convention Center is also adjacent to a championship golf course, while the surrounding area features a number of attractions including local wineries, sightseeing, shopping and restaurants.
