PHOENIX -- Attendee pre-registration figures for SupplySide East 2004 are running more than twice the amount of the 2003 event, according to show sponsor Virgo Publishing. SupplySide East will be held for the first time in Baltimore, at the Baltimore Convention Center, May 5 to 7.

"The buzz over the move to Baltimore has been electric," said Peggy Jackson, director of publishing for Virgo's Health & Nutrition division. "More buyers and executives are participating, and they are bringing more decision makers with them."

SupplySide East 2004 features an expanded education program with three days of seminars designed for healthy- and natural-products executives and an increase in the number of company-sponsored VendorWorks seminars. While exhibit space was sold out in each of the previous four years when the show was held in Secaucus, N.J., exhibit space sales for 2004 are up more than 15 percent over 2003. The move to the Baltimore Convention Center is allowing Virgo to provide enough exhibit hall space for every company wishing to exhibit, more seminar and meeting rooms, and more nearby hotels.
