Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. (PLI) and Soft Gel Technologies, Inc.® (SGTI® ) have reached an agreement to incorporate PLI’s Phase 2 Starch Neutralizer® into soft gelatin capsules exclusively through SGTI®. Phase 2 will be available as part of custom formulations for SGTI® customers. In addition, Phase 2 is an integral component of an innovative formula containing conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and GlucoTrim®, SGTI®’s patented and clinically proven weight loss aid.

Made from an extract of the white kidney bean, Phase 2 is used in a variety of weight control supplements sold worldwide, and is now available in soft gelatin capsules manufactured exclusively by SGTI®. Phase 2 “neutralizes” the enzyme responsible for metabolizing starches during the digestive process and allows carbohydrates to pass through the system before the calories are converted to fat.
