Stephen Lukawski, founder and CEO of Market-Wise Nutrition, has announced that his company will be launching the raw materials and services of Shashi Foods, Inc., headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, one of that nations’ premier raw material suppliers of herbs and spices, as well as a manufacturer of healthy and organic foods, for the U.S. market.
“Shashi Foods has a long-standing, three decades-old presence in Canada’s growing health foods market,” Lukawski says. “Shashi has a global network with strategic joint ventures. It owns and operates three state-of-the-art manufacturing, warehousing and distribution centers in North America and just spent more than a quarter million dollars in R&D and plant upgrades.”
Shashi Foods provides custom milling and blending of herbs, spices and seasoning blends as well as specialty flours. It is expecting its HACCP and GMP certification by year’s end, performs internal audits with Gap analysis monthly, and has a fully automated warehousing system.
