LYSAKER, Norway, May 27, 2005 -- Pronova Biocare, the worlds leading supplier of Omega-3 fatty acids and makers of EPAX® Omega-3 EPA/DHA concentrates, is now offering oils that exceed industry and regulatory impurity standards. By raising company-wide standards, Pronova is now lowering their specification limits for organic pollutants and heavy metals in all oils, ethylesters (EE) and triglycerides (TG) alike.

Pursuing their strategic company goal of remaining ahead of regulatory impurity measures, Pronova developed a new technology for removal of organic pollutants from marine oils. An international patent application for this purification method was published early last year.
