The study was a collaboration between the GENESIS Center for Integrative Medicine and the American Institute for Biosocial and Medical Research. Fifty subjects with a diagnosis of seasonal allergic rhinitis completed the open-label study. Each subject took 2,600 mg of OptiMSM per day for 30 days. Participants were evaluated using a Seasonal Allergy Symptom Questionnaire, completed once a week throughout the trial. Within the first week, significant improvement was observed in total allergy scores from the questionnaire compared to baseline. This improvement continued throughout the study.
