San Diego, Calif. (Mar. 8, 2005) – Nutritional supplements manufacturer Life Solutions Natural Products has announced that  J. Wesley Burgar, an industry expert with two decades of experience in new product development and strategic planning, has joined its executive team as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

In this role, Burgar will oversee the national market introduction of Life Solutions’ new line of liquid nutritional supplements.  He will also assist with advertising, promotions, sales and new product development.

It was Burgar’s strong belief in the Life Solutions’ product line and liquid supplements that brought him to the team at Life Solutions.  Established in 2004, Life Solutions Natural Products is the joint creation of Dr. Mark Stengler, one of the nation’s leading naturopathic medical doctors, and holistic pharmacist Michael Lenzner, R.Ph.

Burgar has an extensive track record of success marketing nutritional products.  Prior to joining Life Solutions, Burgar worked as International Director of Sales & Marketing for Yasoo Health Inc., supervising the planning and execution of all sales initiatives in what was then a new venture-funded natural medicine company. 
As Vice President and COO for Dr. Rath Cellular Health Inc., Burgar managed the European company’s North American expansion and was responsible for all planning, promotion and development in the United States and Canada.
Prior to that, Burgar managed supplement company Select-Nutrition Distributors and organic distributor Tree of Life West.

His professional affiliations have included serving on the regional board of directors of NNFA Northern California and the NNFA West, as well as several national NNFA Committees.  Burgar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications from California State University, San Diego.
