NSF recently entered into a strategic alliance with National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) allowing NSF to accept the NNFA GMP audit for contract manufacturers. NNFA conducted a plant audit at the Arizona Nutritional Supplements facility to verify their compliance with GMPs. Arizona Nutritional Supplements will undergo annual GMP audits and monitoring audits to maintain the registration.

The NSF GMP Registration Program increases the credibility and offers a competitive advantage in the marketplace for contract manufacturers. The program decreases the time and cost for companies seeking third-party testing and product certification if they are using a NSF GMP registered contract manufacturer. The NSF GMP Registration Program is available to all contract manufacturers of dietary supplements. Contract manufacturers of dietary supplements that comply with GMP requirements receive NSF registration certificates and are listed on the NSF Web site.
