WEST CALDWELL, N.J., July 5, 2006 - David Green, president and chief executive officer of Novel Ingredient Services, LLC, announced today the addition of industry sales veteran Trent Armitstead as Key Account Manager.
Armitstead joins Novel Ingredient with more than 10 years experience in nutritional sales and an extensive technical background in botanical and nutraceutical products. His prior sales and sales management positions have included serving as an account executive at Stauber Performance Ingredients of Fullerton, Calif., where he doubled sales in nearly half of the company’s top customers, and national sales manager at Alpine Health Industries in Orem, Utah, where he managed all aspects of the company’s 40 largest accounts.
Additionally, Armitstead has served as sales manager for Tradimex Equipment and safety and manager of market development at Sabinsa Corp. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
