DALLAS, Feb 15, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Natural Health Trends Corp. (NHLC), an international direct-selling company, today announced that is has appointed Keith C. Zagar as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the Company.
Zagar, 48, comes to Natural Health Trends Corp. from Guild Electrical & Telecom Services, a Dallas-based firm providing electrical and other specialized services principally for telecommunications companies, where he was President. Prior to founding the company in 2003, Mr. Zagar served as Chief Operating Officer of an electrical contracting company in Dallas, successfully managing the company through an unprecedented economic downturn in 2001 and 2002.
Before entering into business, Mr. Zagar spent over twenty years in the private practice of law, concentrating in complex commercial and construction litigation, most of which was as a partner with the Dallas, Texas law firm of Gardere & Wynne. He began his professional career in St. Louis following his graduation in 1981 from Saint Louis University School of Law where he received a juris doctor degree. Mr. Zagar previously had received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1978 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
