ANN ARBOR, MI USA - NSF International today announced that more than 60 Meijer brand dietary supplement products received NSF Certification, which means Meijer customers will have increased confidence that what’s on the label matches what’s in the bottle.
 
Now that the certification of products is complete, the dietary supplements reviewed by NSF will carry the independent NSF Mark on the Meijer label so consumers can easily identify the products that have gone through NSF’s stringent process. This includes a range of products such as vitamins, minerals and botanicals.
 
NSF Certification confirms that an in-depth analysis has been performed on the identity and quantity of the ingredients listed on the supplement label. Certification also verifies that the tested supplements do not contain undeclared ingredients or unacceptable levels of contaminants. NSF Dietary Supplements Certification includes: label and formulation review; good manufacturing practices (GMP) plant audits; product testing; safety evaluation and ongoing monitoring to demonstrate continued conformance to NSF/ANSI Standard 173, the only American National Standard for dietary supplement products.
