Appointment coincides with approval to sell Super CitriMax® in Australia
Benicia, Calif., June 21, 2006 – InterHealth Nutraceuticals, Inc. today announced the appointment of Pathway International Pty Ltd as its exclusive distributor for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
In line with InterHealth’s corporate objective to expand its business and brands globally, this appointment coincides with the company’s ability to sell its weight-loss product, Super CitriMax®, in Australia. The country’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) recently approved use of Garcinia zeylanica (sometimes called Garcinia cambogia), a South Asian fruit used to produce Super CitriMax®. InterHealth’s patented, all-natural Super CitriMax® is the only product derived from Garcinia zeylanica extract that is clinically proven to boost serotonin levels and decrease body weight 3-times greater than diet and exercise alone.
“The appointment of an exclusive distributor of Pathway’s caliber will greatly enhance our distribution efforts in the Australian and New Zealand market,” said Darryl Mircheff, Vice President of International Sales for InterHealth. “Given our increased presence in the international arena and a goal of providing our customers with the best support possible, channeling our sales through one strategic business partner in this market will be very beneficial,” Mircheff added.
