Murray to Lead Functional Food and Beverage Initiative BENICIA, Calif., March 28, 2006 – InterHealth Nutraceuticals Inc. today announced the appointment of Daniel Murray as vice president of sales - food and beverage. Mr. Murray, a 20-year veteran of the food manufacturing industry, will lead strategic business development efforts of the company’s growing functional food and beverage division.
Mr. Murray comes to InterHealth after five years with Lonza, Inc. As associate director of nutrition, he was responsible for evaluating and launching new products in the dietary supplement, functional food, and animal feed sectors. Mr. Murray also is a frequent contributor to a number of health industry publications.
Prior to his tenure with Lonza, Mr. Murray worked for several prominent supplement and food companies including Roche Vitamins, Rhodia Food, Inc., H.J. Baker & Bro., Inc., Central Soya Company and Perdue, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY).
