Barkus, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Fortunato, a 15-year veteran of GNC, most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of GNC. "Throughout his career at GNC, Joe has demonstrated his ability to make valuable contributions across many areas of the business," said Mr. Barkus. "His leadership strengths, combined with his broad GNC experience and depth of industry knowledge, will be instrumental in furthering his successful track record in his new position." Mr. Fortunato has held numerous positions within the company including Executive Vice President of Store Operations and Development; Senior Vice President of Store Development; and Vice President of Financial Operations. "Throughout my GNC tenure, I've had the opportunity to be involved in areas of the business including operations, business development and finance," commented Mr. Fortunato.
