CV Technologies Closes Private Placements

Edmonton, Alberta - CV Technologies Inc. (TSX-VEN:CVQ) announced today the closing of several private placements for gross proceeds to the corporation of $600,000. Pursuant to these private placements CVT will issue, pending exchange approval, 6,000,000 common shares at $0.10 per common share of the corporation, and 6,000,000 warrants. Each warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one additional Common Share of the corporation at the exercise price of $0.10 at any time prior to December 20, 2004. The Company paid a finders fee of $52,500 in relation to this private placement.
 
Mr. Kim Lucas stated that this equity investment is an endorsement of the Company's business strategy. It will help establish the COLD-FX(R) brand as a leading cold and flu prevention remedy. CV Technologies may continue to pursue further private placements in the future, market conditions permitting.
