Kristina Williams, MBA to help lead North American marketing efforts

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA – Kimmo Lucas, President and CEO of Cevena Bioproducts, Inc., has announced the addition of Kristina Williams, MBA to its marketing department as AHFMR TC Marketing Intern.

Williams is supported through the AHFMR (Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research) Technology Commercialization Internship Program, which helps develop tomorrow’s innovators by providing opportunities for bright individuals to contribute skills and knowledge to Alberta biotechnology and health companies. As part of the objectives of this training, Kristina will assist in coordination and implementation of several functions within Cevena Bioproducts, including the marketing, finance and regulatory departments.

Williams has a Masters of Laws degree from Uppsala University in Sweden and recently earned her MBA at the University of Alberta.  Kristina has worked as Administrative Director and Legal counsel for Xenerate AB (now part of FIT Biotech), as CEO for Norrlands Nation - a student organization with 7,000 members, and as a client service manager with CIBC Wood Gundy.
