Carotech was awarded “Certificate of Excellence” in the category of Export Excellence for Merchandise by the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). The Certificate was presented by the Minister of International Trade and Industry – the Hon. Tan Sri Dato’ Hj. Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin at the 2008 Industry Excellence Awards ceremony held on March 12th at the One World Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Industry Excellence Award aims to honour Malaysian exporters that have performed exceptionally well in the global marketplace. Carotech was evaluated for criteria under the Export Excellence for Merchandise, such as Export Performance, Market Penetration, Product Development, Market Operation, Reduced usage of imported components, Recognition Received and Social Contribution.

Carotech  is the only GMP-certified manufacturing company for natural full spectrum tocotrienol complex (Tocomin®), natural mixed carotenoids (Caromin®), phytosterol complex (Stelessterol™) and high quality refined and molecularly distilled palm methyl ester (CaroDiesel®) from virgin crude palm oil (Elaeis guineensis) through a unique and patented molecular distillation process.
