Puyallup, Wash., August 9, 2006 --- AIBMR Life Sciences, Inc., a full- service natural and medicinal products research institute, has announced the appointments of John Endres, N.D., to the position of research associate, Beth Baldwin, N.D., to the position of clinical research scientist and Kathleen Gould to the position of executive assistant. Drs. Endres and Baldwin will be part of AIBMR's Natural and Medicinal Products Division and assist with nutraceutical research, preclinical and clinical trials, toxicology studies and product development. Gould will be working directly with AIBMR's CEO and executive team. "As our company continues to experience tremendous growth, we are excited about the addition of these three new members of the AIBMR team," stated Alex Schauss, Ph.D., FACN, director of natural and medicinal products research for AIBMR Life Sciences, Inc. "Each one brings with them extensive experience in their respective fields and will no doubt only further enhance our organization."
Dr. Endres has experience and personal interest in the areas of cell culture research, in particular, plant parts that affect both estrogen positive and estrogen negative breast cancer cell lines. Several of his research papers have appeared in the Journal of Investigative Medicine. Dr. Endres holds bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and German from the State University of New York at Albany, and completed post-graduate work at the State University of New York at Cortland. He earned a doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Wash., and is a licensed naturopathic physician.
Dr. Baldwin comes to AIBMR with extensive knowledge of naturopathic medicine and a wide range of clinical and research experience. Dr. Baldwin holds a bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Washington at Seattle. She earned her doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Wash., and is a licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Washington. Prior to joining AIBMR Life Sciences, Dr. Baldwin worked at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, both in Seattle, Wash.
Gould brings with her more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, account and product management, customer service management and office administration. Prior to joining AIMBR Life Sciences, she was the executive assistant to the corporate vice president of Weyerhauser, a Fortune 500 company. She attended Highline Community College in Midway, Wash., and Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Wash.
