BALTIMORE, MD (July 5, 2006) – Nominations are now being accepted for the 12th Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards, to be given on Friday, October 6, 2006, from 8:00 – 9:30 am in room 307 & 308 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, MD. The deadline for nominations is August 15, 2006.
SRBA recipients demonstrate exceptional track records in ethics, accountability, governance, employment practices, business relationships, financial return, products and services, community involvement and environmental protection. Nominations can be made by the companies themselves, or any other industry member.
SRBA winners in 2005 were NOW Foods, Inc.; Organic India (distributed in the US by OM Organics); Dr. Bronner’s; and Dagoba Chocolates.
